There are of course a great many social media networks - the obvious example is Facebook, but there are plenty of others, with Twitter leading the pack. However, there's also Pinterest, Reddit, Tumblr and a host of others. The videos on this page will look at some of the social networks available and the tools to access them.
Hootsuite
When we're talking about social media networks, Twitter is never far from the topic of conversation. Millions of users, thousands of tweets per second it is one of the giants of social networking. However, the Twitter interface at http://www.twitter.com is not very impressive - in fact if you just looked at that it would probably put you off for life! This is where Twitter clients come in, which make the process of following people, searching for information, slicing it into different categories and viewing content so much easier. Hootsuite at https://hootsuite.com/ is an excellent product, and it's the one that I use on a daily, even hourly basis. You can create an account on the site and use it directly from your browser, but of course, there are the apps to consider.
